8,000 miles  (United States)

I'm easy on tires, but I'm getting the Danson Kit late March, and I'm wondering if I should have the Bridgeport Potenza, auto tire installed before putting the kit together?  The rear tire shows wear, but under normal two wheeling, it should last another 2,000 miles----what are your thoughts about this?  Thanks folks----Ev

Ev, I would recommend you change the tire  before you install the Danson kit. Since it is close to the end of its life.you will find that the tire life on the trike will be less because of the fact that the tire will not be able to roll on the sides anymore since you dont  "lean" a trike. It is not a major job since the Danson kit is easily removed in about 20 mins for servicing, actually, it doesnt even really need to be removed since you can jack up the back and drop the tire down. I work with Danny Johnson and would be happy to answer any questions or feel free to call Danny too.

Mike
