Hello everyone, I just signed up on the site. I live in San Antonio, Texas and have been riding a 2 wheeler for a little over a year and a half. My first scooter was a Linhai 300, a Chinese make in partnership with Yamaha. I initially purchased it for running my errands because of the $4.00 per gallon gasoline, but I enjoyed it so much that I decided to upgrade earlier this yeay and I now have a 2008 Burgman 650 Exec with 2100 miles. Purchased with 1004 miles from Thompson Motorsports in Terre Haute, Indiana in mid May 2009. I am still trying to sell the Linhai, but I guess gas prices aren't high enough yet. After reading about all the various trike conversions available, I was impressed with Seatec's Trinity Trike review. I spoke with Bob Witte at Trinity Trike, he answered any questions I had and I placed an order for the conversion kit. I am going to Orlando with some friends for Thanksgiving week, at which time I will swing by the shop and pick up the kit. I will be self installing it after I get back home in early December and getting the tires, wheels, and fenders locally. Luckily it doesn't get too cold down here and I will probably take a couple of days to do it so it gets done right and without rushing it. I will update in the Trinity thread after I get started. My Goddaughter managed to get my Canon camera, which I loaned to her, stolen and if I can get a replacement camera, I will post photos of my progress. If I get stuck on anything I'm sure I can call on some of the fellow trikesters for assistance.
Again, hello to everyone,
Richard
