Trike Finally Completed-Reworked Front End  (N/A)

Well I finally completed the Trinity Trike conversion a couple of months back. I had a few issues that had to be worked through so I didn't take the time to chronicle my progress, but I perservered and got everything worked out. After the work was done I took the fenders to be painted, they came out really well. The ride was quite a bit rougher than I had anticipated and after speaking to Terry Engle, I ordered the Race Tech parts necessary to install cartridge emulators in the front forks, This is a mod that I recommend for everyone with a trike conversion. It really makes for a better ride from the front end and the steering is a little bit easier. Still not perfect but quite a bit more maneuverable. Shop around on the web, the parts can be acquired for under $250.00 and is not difficult to do if you tinker with your ride,  just follow the instructions from Race Tech. For those interested there is a company in Canada called Sidecars that does triple tree modifications called a Steerite, using your part, to reduce the trail of the front tire, this makes the trike handle as if it has power steering. They have been doing this for a few years now with other brands, I spoke to them and they are looking for a local Burgman 650 true trike to do their R & D. If you are interested let them know at info@sidecars.ca they are compiling a call back list of interested parties. If the market is big enough, this should encourage them to proceed with the Burgman 650 Steerite. If I can be of any help to anyone I can be reached through the forum here or if a quicker response is needed you can PM me at guzmanr@swbell.net.
