primarily commute 70 miles daily (dry rider)

Yes it will but I was mentally prepared after watching the vcr movie that comes with it.

Kind of chirps when the wheel touches back down. Guys riding behind me get a kick out of it.

Re: Owner of voyager/650  (United States)

What I haven't told you is that on July of last year,I flew to Canton, Ohio and picked up a used 650 and totaled it the next morning coming across the West Va Mountains on my way bringing it back home to Va.

6 busted ribs--busted finger-torn Rotator cuff and road rash later--

I bought this one the next day on e-bay from a sr guy in Mo.

Much more stable and wife is happier--at 61 I need to work a few more years.

This is the old boys club, most people are over 50 when they trike, I built one  years ago out of a WV.  Wayne

Re: Owner of voyager/650  (N/A)

Holly cow!  I just turned 65 and I hope I'm not as old as you folks...I just bought a Triumph Bonnie to compliment my FJR1300 and my KLR650.  Now my wife wants a trike so we are looking at a Burgy with a trike kit.  I may have to switch to a trike at some point in my life but I'd like to think that it will be later rather than sooner!

Someone once said on a BMW forum (sold a Beemer to buy the Bonnie) that rather than a trike, one should just buy a Miata; much less expensive (than a Lehman K1200LT or GW kit) and when the weather turns bad, put up the top!  I don't subscribe to that school of thought but it does have merit.

Re: Owner of voyager/650  (Canada)

Trikes are just more fun to drive than bikes , most people never to back to 2 wheels once they try them, just too many advantages with 3 wheels.  Wayne
