Wind wings  (United States)

Wayne,

Any idea on how to get  the wind wings that fit on the front fairing to shield one's legs from the wind.

I remember seeing some that perfectly followed the natural line of the fairing but can't find them now.

Sure would be nice this winter

Thanks

ED

Re: Wind wings  (Canada)

I got mine from a guy in Germany, met him on burgmanusa. He is called German Rider, has not been on last few years.  Contact one of the German members and see if they will ship you set. I only tried mine off once, did not like the wind on my leags. It finishes off the front of the bike, like they should be on there. I think they cost about $110, + $10 shipping which was a good price.  Some one made a set from the vent shelds on trucks, just have to find the right angle, also some one made them from aluminum.  I made a set for Honda 250 out of vinyl siding and stuck them on with black silicone.  So there are different ways to do it, but the best is the German ones, the Japinese ones are a different shape.

The guy I bought my uni-go trailer from picked up an extra set while he was in Germany and offered them to me first.  I love 'em.  Ed

Re: Wind wings  (Canada)

The wind wings are great, make a big difference in the air flow and look great on the bike.  Was looking at some of your pictures of your bike, you know how to dress it up nice     Wayne
